Job summary

Visuna is seeking Senior Field Engineers to deliver onshore directional drilling services in Alaska. The role emphasizes safety leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration with clients and rig teams to achieve precise well placement and optimal performance.

Ideal candidates will have extensive directional drilling experience, familiarity with MWD, and a proven ability to mentor field personnel in challenging Arctic environments.

Qualifications

  • Senior Field Engineer with directional drilling experience.
  • Experience in remote/arctic environments preferred.
  • Strong safety leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute complex Directional Drilling and ERD operations with precise well placement.
  • Perform anti-collision monitoring and survey management to maintain wellbore integrity and minimize risks.
  • Optimize drilling performance using motor drilling technologies and rotary steerable systems; provide real-time recommendations.
  • Collaborate with customers, engineers, MWD personnel, and rig teams to deliver safe, high-quality services and strong client relationships.
  • Support operations in remote and challenging environments, leveraging Arctic drilling experience to enhance decision-making and performance.
