Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of rig experience with at least 2 years as a derrickman or motorman on a similar arctic drilling rig.
• Must have a current IADC Well Control Certification at the Drilling Operations Supervisor level.
• Ability to obtain or currently hold a North Slope Training Cooperative card.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety and supervision of rig crew.
• Monitors all rig and subsurface conditions and reports any issues directly to the Rig Manager.
• Advises and communicates with oil company representatives regarding drilling program.
