Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a Designated Institutional Official (DIO) to lead Graduate Medical Education across the enterprise. The DIO collaborates with the CAO, department chairs, program directors, and faculty to shape academic strategy, ensure ACGME accreditation readiness, and foster excellence in training.

This on-site, senior leadership role directs educational programs, budgeting, and compliance, with travel between MGH, BWH, and other sites.

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine required.
At least 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in medical education.
Experience in ACGME accreditation.
Track record as a Program/Fellowship Director in GME.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the institution's mission in Graduate Medical Education, aligning educational initiatives with the broader institutional goals and CAO directives.
Provide visionary leadership in the design, delivery, and evaluation of GME programs. Oversee all ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship programs.
Ensure institutional and programmatic compliance with ACGME standards and requirements.
Maintain effective communication and collaboration with department chairs, program directors, and faculty through dotted-line reporting relationships.
Ensure all education programs meet accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for education programs.
Performs other duties as assigned complies with all policies and standards
