Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a Designated Institutional Official (DIO) to lead graduate medical education across the system, align CAO initiatives, and ensure accreditation compliance. The DIO collaborates with VPs of Education, department chairs, program directors, and faculty to advance academic excellence and innovation.

This senior role requires Doctor of Medicine and 8–10 years of leadership in medical education, with a proven track record of program oversight and regulatory

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine required.
8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in medical education.
Experience in ACGME accreditation.
Track record as a Program/Fellowship Director in GME.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans to advance Graduate Medical Education at Mass General Brigham.
Provide leadership in the design, delivery, and evaluation of GME programs including oversight of ACGME-accredited residencies and fellowships.
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and CAO directives.
Collaborate with department chairs, program directors, and faculty; manage budgeting and resources for education programs.
Maintain ongoing communications across sites and ensure education programs meet regulatory requirements.
