Job summary

Dial in Elkhorn, NE is looking for a Full-time Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef or Dining Director in managing daily food production. You'll ensure high quality food and safety standards while promoting a positive dining experience for residents.

Ideal candidates will have a culinary degree or equivalent, prior experience as a Sous Chef, and proficiency in volume food production. Various perks are provided, including PTO and medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Sous Chef or senior cook required.
• Experience in volume food production within a commercial kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Support Executive Chef in overseeing daily food production.
• Maintain high quality of food and safety standards.
• Prepare and portion food ingredients following standardized recipes.
• Assist with menu planning and adjust menus as necessary.
• Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all delivered foods.
• Monitor compliance with food safety and health regulations.
• Assist in supervising kitchen team and train new staff.
