Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Food Service Director to lead the dining program at a long‑term care facility. You will supervise staff, ensure quality meals, and maintain required records using HCSG software.

The role emphasizes safety, infection control, and collaboration with client managers and residents. The ideal candidate has a relevant degree and supervision experience, plus certifications or a plan to obtain FPM, FSM, and LTC-FSM within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, including coursework.
• Two years of quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred.
• CDM certification preferred (or as required by state and county law).
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) within the first 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and LTC-FSM certifications within the first 60 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment; use HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-servicing; perform roles as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers and administrators to HCSG staff.
• Ensure safe handling of cleaning solutions and report equipment needs promptly.
• Uphold infection control and sanitary practices.
