Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Food Service Director to oversee the dining program at a long-term care facility. You will ensure high food quality, inventory management, safety, and outstanding resident and client service, while adhering to menus and all regulations.

The role requires an associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, two years of supervisory experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality (preferred).
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and supervision preferred.
• CDM certification preferred; must obtain FPM and FSM/LTC-FSM within timeframes.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and be able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the dining program for a single facility, ensuring quality, safety, and service.
• Maintain records of income, expenses, inventory, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Train staff, conduct quality control, and perform roles as needed.
• Communicate directives from clients and administrators to staff clearly.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
