Job summary

State of Colorado Division of Youth Services seeks candidates to perform fully operational food production work in the DYS Food Services Department. You will work at your assigned location, with shifts between 4:00 a.m.

and 7:00 p.m., and you must be prepared to adapt to changing work arrangements. Responsibilities include following menus, preparing meals, ensuring proper safety and sanitation, managing inventory, and participating in training and meetings.

Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Full background check and reference check required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food that is attractive, served at proper temperatures, and in correct portions.
• Follow menus/recipes and enter data on production worksheets.
• Set up and tear down serving lines and garnish food on the line.
