Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in an occupational field related to the work
• CDPHE recognized food safety certification will substitute for experience.
• Experience in foodservice Certification of Servsafe Class
• Working in a Hospital or Living Centers

Responsibilities

• Serve meals, take orders, cook to order, serve desserts and salads.
• Set, clear, sanitize tables; wash dishes; roll silverware; set dining rooms.
• Assist as a cook helper preparing meals to ensure timely, nutritious meals.
• Fill dispensers, stock refrigerators, prepare beverages, deliver to nursing service.
• Maintain storeroom; stock items; ensure sanitary storage per regulations.
• Clean dining room; mop floors; ensure sanitation and infection control.
• Attend mandatory and optional in-services for the department.
• Complete paperwork to comply with state, federal, VA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned
