Amira Choice Forest Lake in Forest Lake, MN offers senior living options with a strong dining program. We are seeking a Server/Culinary Assistant to provide dining room meal service and maintain kitchenette supplies for our Assisted Living Community.

The role includes casual hours every two weeks, day and early evening shifts, and one weekend per month, with emphasis on resident satisfaction and food safety. Training in the EMenu system is provided.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of experience required.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and keeps the dining area clean and inviting.
• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper dining room set-up and workflow.
• Learns and uses EMenu System and restaurant-style service.
• Ensures all dishes and utensils are washed and put away.
• Promotes positive resident relations and satisfaction.
• Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
• Accommodates resident requests and substitutions.
• Refers issues to leadership as appropriate.
