Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Allergen Awareness Certification or Food Protection Manager certification required within stated timelines.
• Food Handlers Card required or equivalent VA certification within specified days.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow recipes, prep lists, and menus to ensure accurate preparation.
• Ensure available resources (equipment, supplies) to meet meal service needs.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in all kitchen areas and adhere to policy and regulatory requirements.
• Provide positive interaction with residents, guests, and co-workers; support timely meal service.
