Job summary
Canonical is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a remote role focused on the Digital Workplace. You will design and deliver systems and platforms, build Go services and APIs, and design data models for integrated data sources.

Qualifications
- Deep expertise in at least two technical areas: backend Go, frontend React/TS, or data engineering.
- Testing, security, performance and accessibility are integral to the role.
- Own your work from first spec to production and communicate clearly in a distributed team.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver systems and platforms, including intuitive UIs.
- Build Go services and APIs connecting multiple data sources.
- Design data models and architecture for connected systems.
- Create dashboards and visualisations from data.
- Incorporate LLM-powered features into workflows.
- Write specs, estimate work and deliver to criteria.
- Maintain code quality through reviews, testing and documentation.
- Mentor engineers and improve team practices.
