Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Santa Clara, CA, is hiring a Principal Project Manager (Digital) to lead digital transformation initiatives for the Shockwave Medical program. You will oversee cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and drive value realization while ensuring QMS and process standards are followed.

The role requires substantial experience in digital project management within the medical device space, strong communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in science, engineering or business administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 10+ years of digital project management experience, with at least 5 years in the medical device industry.
• 5+ years leading medical device enterprise software with Quality System Management requirements.
• 5+ years managing enterprise system implementation teams and/or implementation vendors.
• Project Management training and/or certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives, PM methodologies, and PMO practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional activities in line with company process excellence, digital PM, and QMS standards.
• Lead project planning, risk management, and digital literacy across the organization.
• Drive multiple parallel projects with matrixed governance and team members.
• Oversee all phases of digital transformation from problem statement to value realization.
• Publish dashboards and reports showing progress, risk, and achievements.
• Develop formal communications and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
• Mentor other Project Managers and improve delivery tools and change management.
