Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking a skilled SCM professional to join the SCM Connections team in the United States. The role focuses on end‑to‑end APS deployments, data-driven planning improvements, and collaboration with clients on complex supply chain solutions.

You will leverage advanced analytics and optimization techniques, engage with system architects and client teams, and contribute to roadmap discussions with internal product groups. Expect travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in science, engineering, mathematics, or business; MBA or master's degree in supply chain optimization / operation research / industrial engineering is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain or a related field.
• APS software implementation experience is required, specializing in at least one of the following: SAP IBP, Kinaxis, and/or o9.
• Good understanding of demand planning, inventory optimization, supply chain planning or operational supply chain fundamentals.
• Familiarity with supply chain data and data systems such as ERP.
• Familiarity with data extraction, data transformation, analytics, and visualization tools.
• Exposure to advanced optimization techniques such as MILP, statistical analyses, and machine learning.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
