Job summary

Citi in New York seeks a Digital Software Engineer Senior Manager to lead a high-impact team delivering secure, scalable software. You will define architecture, mentor engineers, and partner with stakeholders to drive delivery and technical excellence.

You will manage performance, budgeting, and hiring, and ensure adherence to Citi’s leadership principles. You will drive cloud adoption, implement CI/CD best practices, and foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver value for the business

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or senior level experience in Enterprise Architecture.
• Expertise across cloud platforms (AWS, PCF, Akamai) and modern software delivery practices.
• Lead resources and act as SME across company, driving architecture and adoption.
• Familiarity with NGA technology and innovative approaches; strong automation focus.

Responsibilities

• Build and mentor a high-performing software engineering team.
• Guide architecture decisions and ensure alignment with Citi standards.
• Drive secure, maintainable, and scalable software delivery.
• Lead design reviews and code reviews to maintain quality and velocity.
