Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Technical Project/Program Manager for a remote, contract engagement to drive planning and delivery of digital technology initiatives for a state health plan. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and report progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related Project Management experience, or 7+ years in lieu of degree.
• Must have 3+ years' experience delivering digital projects for insurance, healthcare or provider portal initiatives.
• Experience managing enterprise strategic initiatives and working with delivery teams.
• Significant experience leading complex technology projects from planning through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery for digital initiatives through integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, roadmaps, and release timelines.
• Coordinate efforts across Agile teams, engineering, product, business stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise programs.
• Maintain technical and product knowledge to anticipate risks, support tradeoffs, and resolve blockers and dependencies.
• Identify, assess, track, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions with timely escalation.
• Ensure alignment with governance standards, delivery methodologies, compliance requirements, and quality expectations.
• Manage resources, capacity, team allocations, and delivery constraints while supporting forecasting and execution planning.
• Track budgets, forecasts, vendor commitments, and resource impacts, providing visibility to scope, timeline, and outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, product teams, technology partners, architects, vendors, and stakeholders.
