Job summary

RRD Company is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist for the 1st shift in St. Charles, IL. You will operate high resolution, variable print equipment and prepare jobs for production, maintaining logs and manifests.

The role requires advanced knowledge of digital print and inkjet imaging, color theory, and file handling. You may instruct junior operators and ensure quality and timely output, with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of digital print and/or inkjet imaging equipment setup and operation.
• Ability to diagnose and correct operating problems affecting quality and timeliness.
• Strong knowledge of color theory and color correction to match customer specs.

Responsibilities

• Operate high resolution, variable print proprietary imaging equipment.
• Program and prepare jobs for printing.
• Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests.
• Setup, program and release jobs from print queue.
• Adjust image position, color quality and resolution, perforations and folds.
• Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
• Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs.
• Maintain inventory levels.
