Job summary

RRD in Missouri seeks a Printing Operator to run high‑resolution, variable print equipment, program and prep jobs, and keep daily production logs and delivery manifests.

You will set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue, adjust images, verify color quality, and manage supplies. You may train junior operators and share expertise. Must stand all day and lift up to 50 lb; English proficiency required. Shift: 1st day shift 6:00 am–6:00 pm, 12‑hour rotations.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of digital print and/or ink jet equipment setup and operation.
• Able to diagnose and correct operating problems affecting quality and timeliness.
• Knowledge of color theory and ability to adjust imaging to customer specs.
• Good knowledge of file manipulation and file formats for digital print.
• Able to set up feed rollers, tensioning, timing and in-line finishing per job specs.
• Must stand all day and lift up to 50 lbs; English literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-resolution, variable print proprietary imaging equipment.
• Program and prepare jobs for printing.
• Maintain daily print job production logs and delivery manifests.
• Set up, program and release jobs from print queue.
• Adjust image position and color quality.
• Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
• Order supplies as needed.
• Train junior operators as assigned.
• Share your expertise and help train other employees as assigned
