Job summary

1898 & Co. is seeking a Senior Solution Consultant for its Digital PMO practice to lead capital project and portfolio management engagements. You will design, configure, and optimize digital PMO solutions, mentor teams, and advise clients on project delivery innovations.

You will bring deep PMO expertise, lead client workshops, manage stakeholder relationships, and help grow the firm's consulting footprint across utilities, infrastructure, and large capital programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent project and portfolio management system skills.
• Strong attention to detail, facilitation, teamwork, collaboration, organization and problem solving.
• Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem solving environment.
• Ability to independently solve difficult problems requiring adaptation of techniques.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines in on-site environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and identify critical path items.
• Ability to focus on the big picture while analyzing critical details for project outcomes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT).

Responsibilities

• Lead consulting engagements focused on capital project and portfolio management technology.
• Develop and design technical solutions, including cost estimates, approaches, and schedules.
• Provide technical leadership for PM system implementations.
• Ensure QA/QC for all deliverables aligned with client needs.
• Guide development of improved business processes within PM systems.
• Maintain and grow client relationships through delivery and business development support.
• Contribute domain expertise to cross-functional teams and drive innovation in PM tech.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
