Job summary

Broadcom Inc. location: Mendota Heights, MN or Broomfield, CO. Senior Digital / Mixed-Signal IC design or verification engineer needed to lead methodologies across global teams, drive automation, and ensure high-quality tape-outs for data center storage ASICs.

The role demands senior-level Verilog/VHDL RTL design, digital/mixed-signal verification, and strong cross-functional coordination. Candidates should have 8+ years in engineering with relevant degrees and a track record in IC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or Master's in Engineering with related experience.
• Excellent spoken and written communication, and ability to coordinate across global teams.
• Strong analytical ability to apply math and physics to engineering problems.
• Understanding of CMOS/Bipolar device physics is a strong plus.
• Expertise across design and verification domains is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between local US design teams and global cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical support through testing, yield analysis, characterization, reliability, qualification, and release to manufacturing.
• Adhere to schedule, die size, and power commitments.
• Conduct detailed design reviews with internal and external customers.
• Lead digital IC design tasks including Verilog RTL coding, synthesis, and place & route.
• Lead verification efforts with UVM/OVM, coverage goals, and tape-out readiness.
• Champion modernization of verification workflows with AI-assisted methods.
