Job summary

Factory Advisors is seeking a Senior Advisor (LLC/S‑Corp) to work with manufacturing clients on operational excellence and digital transformation. This role involves hands‑on execution on site with client teams, leading improvements, and delivering measurable results while partnering across a Global Advisory Network.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, engineering, digital manufacturing, automation, or related disciplines.
• Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate independently as a consultant through an LLC or S‑Corp.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and digital transformation for manufacturing clients to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Develop specialized expertise to solve complex manufacturing, operational, and technology challenges across client engagements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and sustain business, operational, and digital solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, plant managers, and functional leaders through operational improvements and organizational change.
• Drive manufacturing performance by analyzing production systems, processes, data, KPIs, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement digital manufacturing solutions including MES, automation, and AI‑enabled tools.
• Develop sustainable operating systems, digital workflows, and best practices to improve long‑term business performance.
• Create executive‑level deliverables such as project plans, business cases, roadmaps, dashboards, and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Support business development through proposals, assessments, and discovery activities.
• Coach and develop client teams to build internal capability and knowledge transfer.
• Manage risk and drive successful execution by removing barriers and communicating with stakeholders.
