Job summary

Factory Advisors is seeking a Senior Advisor to join our Global Advisory Network as an independent contractor (LLC or S-Corp). This role involves working directly with manufacturing and industrial clients to streamline operations, improve performance, and deliver measurable, lasting impact—often on-site.

You’ll develop deep expertise in your discipline, collaborate in small teams, and guide client organizations through complex change while traveling across the US.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in relevant operational, manufacturing, or industrial leadership roles.
• Proven track record in driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and team performance.
• Strong communicator, adaptable problem-solver, and active listener who thrives in challenging environments.
• Self-starter who works independently while building collaborative relationships with clients and peers.
• Ability to operate as an independent consultant via LLC or S‑Corp.

Responsibilities

• Develop specialized knowledge and apply it to manage complex components of client projects.
• Collaborate in small teams with other Sr. Advisors and client leaders to design strategies and processes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to implement improved processes and guide organizational change.
• Lead and support client engagements from planning to execution with focus on outcomes.
• Analyze operations on-site to identify and implement improvements.
• Develop solutions and best practices to enhance performance.
• Create high-impact deliverables: plans, analyses, reports, presentations.
• Support business development through proposals, pricing models, and client research.
• Coach client teams to apply new industry approaches for lasting results.
• Anticipate risks and develop proactive mitigation to keep projects on track.
