Job summary

Factory Advisors is seeking a Senior Advisor to drive operational and digital transformation for manufacturing clients. You will work directly with client leadership, plant teams, and our Global Advisory Network to optimize processes, implement MES, and enable AI-enabled operations.

The role is an independent contractor (LLC or S-Corp) with up to 90% travel in the US, embracing a flexible consulting model within our network. Strong leadership and strategic execution are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading operational improvements, manufacturing transformations, or large-scale programs.
• Experience driving measurable safety, quality, productivity, throughput or cost improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and digital transformation initiatives for manufacturing clients.
• Develop specialized expertise across client engagements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
• Coach executives and plant leaders through change and technology adoption.
• Analyze production systems and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support MES, digital manufacturing deployments, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Develop executive-level deliverables and roadmaps.
• Contribute to business development and client discovery.
