Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Digital Layout Designer to join our silicon design group. You will design complex custom layouts for digital circuits in deep SubMicron CMOS technologies and collaborate with CAD, integration, and technology engineers to deliver PDV-clean layouts.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10 years of experience, strong layout skills, and proficiency with CALIBRE DRC/ ERC/LVS. Experience with Mentor Graphics or Cadence tools and scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design complex custom layout for digital circuits in deep SubMicron CMOS technologies.
• Review floorplans and complex circuits with circuit designers.
• Run a complete set of layout verification tools and ensure PDV quality.
• Collaborate with CAD, integration, and technology teams to meet schedules.
• Interpret LVS, DRC, ERC reports to optimize layouts.
