Job summary

Ares Management seeks a Principal to join the Digital Infrastructure Legal team in Los Angeles. The role is a front-line position working with senior leadership, customers, investment professionals and cross-functional teams globally to provide strategic legal advice on revenue, product, and marketing initiatives.

You will negotiate leases and revenue-generating agreements, ensure regulatory compliance, manage contractual relations, and mitigate risks across our operations.

Qualifications

• JD required with strong academic record.
• Experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to revenue, product, and marketing teams.
• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements (sales, licensing, SLAs, partnerships, leases).
• Collaborate across functions to implement legal strategies and mitigate risk.
• Conduct legal research on laws and industry standards affecting operations.
• Advise on product development and marketing initiatives.
• Manage litigation matters related to sales, product, marketing, and real estate.
