Job summary
Ares Management is seeking a Principal to join the Digital Infrastructure Legal team. The Principal will be a senior member of the Legal team, providing strategic legal advice across revenue, product and marketing, with focus on negotiating leases and generating agreements while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management.

Qualifications
- JD required with a strong academic background.
- Demonstrated experience understanding complex legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to negotiate and draft complex commercial agreements.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice to revenue, product, and marketing teams on a wide range of matters including contract negotiations, leases, joint ventures, IP rights, advertising regulations, and data privacy laws.
- Review, draft, and negotiate sales contracts, licensing, SLAs, partnership and lease agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement legal strategies that support business objectives and minimize legal risk.
- Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards to stay current.
- Advise on product development and marketing initiatives; oversee litigation related to sales, product, marketing, and real estate.
