Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a seasoned Systems Engineer to lead the digital transformation of a DoD propulsion program. You will manage model-based design, digital twin development, and a comprehensive Technical Data Package (TDP) while coordinating across design, manufacturing and test teams.

Security clearance and US citizenship are required. You will champion digital engineering strategies, MBSE practices, and integration with DEE to enable model-based manufacturing and assembly, ensuring data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics from an accredited college or university (or high school diploma/GED and at least 9 years of engineering experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance (Requires US Government Security Clearance)

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive digital strategy for model-based design, assembly and digital qualification.
• Collaborate with Engine Model Owner and Product Definition teams to define digital engine.
• Lead integration of digital engine into the DEE to improve traceability across design, sourcing, manufacturing and test.
• Define digital twin with airframe partners and implement across the DEE.
• Stay updated on digital engineering trends; improve tools and processes in DEE.
• Coordinate digital engine test and qualification scope with systems and test teams.
• Develop data management strategy ensuring customer requirements and IP protection.
