Job summary

GE Aerospace in Evendale, Ohio seeks a Systems Engineer to coordinate the digital engine definition across the DEE, MBSE, and digital twin initiatives. The role focuses on model-based design and assembly, with responsibility for the TDP and DoD data requirements.

You will partner with Engine Model Owners and Product Definition teams to implement digital strategies, improve traceability, and enable model-based manufacturing and assembly workflows. A U.S. security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate a digital engine definition strategy across MBSE, MBD and digital twin initiatives.
• Lead integration of the digital engine into the DEE to enable traceability and model-based workflows.
• Coordinate delivery of a comprehensive Technical Data Package (TDP) per MIL-STD-31000.
• Define digital twin concepts with airframe partners and implement across DEE.
• Drive digital engine test/qualification strategy with systems and test organizations.
• Ensure data management and IP protection requirements are met.
