Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr Digital Developer to design, develop and modify web applications to support digital fundraising assets across the enterprise. You will gather requirements, test, triage defects and deliver reliable software to end users.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience with React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript, plus familiarity with Azure DevOps and ticketing systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript
• Experience with ticketing systems; troubleshooting web app defects and debugging
• Experience with Visual Studio Team Services/Azure DevOps or similar tools
• Customer service minded with excellent communication skills
• Solutions oriented with good problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript.
• Develop software artifacts based on requirements and architecture.
• Test software in unit and integration tests; support user acceptance testing.
• Handle tickets and defects; triage and communicate status to customers.
• Clarify and refine business requirements; provide estimations and coordination.
