Job summary

Citi is seeking a Digital Software Engineer to lead the architecture strategy for Citi's Digital platforms. You will set the technical direction, ensuring scalable, secure systems and services while mentoring engineers and driving architectural excellence across multiple lines of business.

You will engage with vendors, evaluate new technologies, and represent Citi externally at conferences. This senior role requires independent decision making and strategic impact on global operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in an enterprise architecture role.
• Architect and deliver secure, scalable solutions across cloud platforms.
• Lead cross-functional technical discussions with stakeholders to align on design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical architecture strategy for Citi's Digital engineering team.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance systems and services.
• Lead architecture design reviews and drive reusable patterns across the organization.
• Mentor engineers and raise quality across teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and engage with external vendors.
