GlobalFoundries at Essex Junction Fab 9 is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving equipment and processes in a fast-paced environment. You will work with production teams and area engineers, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and communicate status updates to leads and engineers.

The role requires the ability to work in a cleanroom, lift heavy equipment, and follow semiconductor protocol.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree (or equivalent)
• Experience: Electrical or mechanical fields with relevant experience as listed in the job description
• Travel: Minimal travel
• Language: English (Written & Verbal)
• Cleanroom environment experience as required by semiconductor protocol

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks
• Work safely following FAB9 EHS&S policies
• Work independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment
• Support and engage in training activities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment
• Monitor and test semiconductor equipment for manufacturing readiness
• Complete event documentation and communicate end-of-shift handoffs
• Prioritize and plan daily work and scheduled activities
