Job summary

Tohono O'odham Nation Healthcare's Sells Hospital seeks a Supervisory Dietitian to lead the Nutrition and Dietetic Services Department, ensuring high-quality Medical Nutrition Therapy and safe food service for the TONHC community. This role includes planning, directing staff, budgeting, and coordinating with hospital departments.

You will supervise two dietitians, a dietetic technician, a cook supervisor, and six cooks, and provide expert guidance on MNT, menu planning, and compliance with TJC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics completed and ACEND-accredited supervised practice.
• Registered Dietitian credentials required.
• Minimum six years of work experience as a registered dietitian.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing and organizational structure for Nutrition and Dietetic Services.
• Ensure policies comply with TJC, CMS, and other regulatory standards.
• Approve menu standards, nutrition care plans, and food handling practices.
• Develop budgets for subsistence, procurement, and staff training.
• Monitor department performance and drive quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide expert nutrition guidance to staff and community partners.
