Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Senior Level Diesel Technician in Orlando, FL. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth within the Ryder logistics team.

The position emphasizes diagnostic repair, preventive maintenance, and safe operation of state‑of‑the‑art equipment. A CDL Class A is preferred and ASE certification bonuses are available.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/Technical certification or post-secondary degree preferred.
• Basic tools are required.
• Experience with mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines and preventive maintenance.

Mansioni

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs preventive maintenance and diagnostic work.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Replaces defective components with minimal supervision.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the issue.
• Maintains documentation using Shop Management System.
