Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical certification preferred.
• Three (3) years or more relevant work experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• All other certification as required by location, required.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy/medium duty equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Repairs and replaces defective components with minimal supervision.
• Mentions mentoring for Tech levels.Technical documentation and compliance with safety and DOT guidelines.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint and scope of work.
• Supports shop management system usage and maintenance documentation.
• Participates in service island support and other operations tasks.
