Job summary
Interstate Power Systems in Omaha, NE is hiring a Senior Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain diesel engines and related systems. You will troubleshoot electrical, fuel, cooling, drivetrain, hydraulic and aftertreatment systems and perform preventative maintenance with precise service documentation.

Qualifications
- Experience as a diesel technician or related role.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to diagnose and repair diesel-powered equipment.
- Experience with electronic diagnostics and repair software preferred.
- Commitment to safety, quality and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, cooling, drivetrain, hydraulic, and aftertreatment systems.
- Complete preventative maintenance and major component repairs.
- Use diagnostic software, technical manuals, and computerized troubleshooting tools.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend repair solutions.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and repair records.
- Work safely and efficiently while delivering high-quality workmanship.
