Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking a Level 3 Diesel Technician in Longview, TX. You will perform complex engine repairs, assist with diagnostics, and mentor junior techs while upholding HOLT's safety and quality standards.

You should bring 4+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or technical training, and ASE/MHTC credentials. Expect to work with advanced diagnostic tools and stay current with maintenance manuals and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a technical trades program.
• Minimum four years of diesel/vehicle repair experience.
• Completion of Levels 1–3 training pathways and safety training.
• ProTech training and VBL culture familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engines and related equipment with minimal supervision.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to junior technicians.
• Maintain tools, documentation, and safety compliance.
• Communicate progress and resolve customer needs efficiently.
