Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking an experienced Level 3 Diesel Technician in the Houston area. The role involves diagnosing and repairing engines, performing complex repairs on trucks and trailers, and mentoring junior technicians.

A strong focus on safety, documentation, and customer communication is required. Ideal candidates have a minimum of four years of experience, completion of Levels 1 & 2 curriculum, and ProTech training.

Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or equivalent and technical school accreditation.
• Must have minimum four years of experience.
• Completion of Levels 1 & 2 curriculum pathway requirements.
• Has met ProTech training requirements for preceding Technician levels.
• Ongoing Safety Training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engines and related equipment with minimal supervision.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble components to factory specs.
• Provide quality control inspections and document service reports and parts.
• Mentor lower level technicians and participate in safety training.
