Job summary

HOLT CAT in Houston is seeking a Senior-level Level 4 Mobile Technician with extensive diagnostics and repair experience. This field-based role serves as a key technical resource, mentoring junior technicians and supporting shop productivity.

The ideal candidate has six or more years of relevant experience, completed Levels 1–3, and ProTech safety training. Travel up to 100% is required, with ownership of tools and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent from a technical school or skilled trades program.
Minimum of six years of experience.
Completion of Levels 1, 2 & 3 curriculum pathway requirements as outlined in the Leveling Description Guide.
Has met ProTech training requirements for preceding Technician levels; Ability to learn and model HOLT's VBL Culture.
On-going Safety Training.

Responsibilities

Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership tools and processes.
Operates independently in a mobile service environment across multiple job sites.
Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex engine malfunctions with minimal supervision.
Disassembles, inspects, and repairs engines and related equipment to factory specs.
Provides quality control inspections and road tests of completed tasks.
Completes service reports, timecards, parts requisitions, and documentation.
