Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Technician III to perform preventative maintenance and advanced diagnostics on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will train newer technicians and handle major repairs with attention to quality and safety.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, experience with class 7 and 8 trucks, and the ability to work in a non-climate controlled shop. Benefits start on day one, with bonuses and a comprehensive tool program.

Qualifications

• Diesel technology degree required or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience with heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine services.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes and related components.
• Test drive vehicles and test components using proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot suspension, electrical, and exhaust systems.
