Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a skilled Technician III to perform preventative maintenance on vehicle systems, diagnose failures, and suggest repairs. The role includes training other technicians and maintaining high-quality workmanship in a non-climate controlled shop.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, performing repairs and diagnostics, and ensuring orders meet quality standards before delivery. A diesel technology background and welding experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technology degree required.
• 7+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.
• Training experience.
• Diagnostic experience.
• Welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before presentation to customers.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric and brake accessories).
• Overhaul, troubleshoot and repair diesel and gasoline engines.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures regarding vehicle repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
