Job summary

FleetPride is seeking an experienced Technician III to perform preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will diagnose complex defects, train junior technicians, and ensure service orders meet quality standards.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on repair of diesel engines and systems, and reliable customer service in a high-volume shop environment. FleetPride provides full benefits, training, and tool programs.

Qualifications

• Diesel technology degree or equivalent training.
• 7+ years of experience with Class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.
• Ability to train technicians and provide guidance.
• Strong customer service and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, lubrications, filter replacements.
• Repair, relines, and replace brakes and related components.
• Overhaul and repair diesel and gasoline engines.
• Troubleshoot electrical, exhaust, and steering systems.
