Ryder is hiring a Senior Level Diesel Technician in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on maintenance and repair of heavy‑duty vehicles, offering weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a strong career path.

You will work with state‑of‑the‑art diagnostics and perform preventive maintenance, mentoring junior technicians. The position emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and bonus opportunities, plus tuition repayment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Basic tools are required.
• Experience repairing gas or diesel engines and performing PM.
• Diagnostics and repairs of AC and electrical systems required.
• CDL CLASS A preferred; other certifications as location requires.
• Minimum 2 years of heavy‑duty repairs and diagnostics experience.

Mansioni

• Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy‑duty equipment.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems with diagnostic tools.
• Complete inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Interact with drivers to identify issues.
• Utilize the Shop Management System and documentation.
• Follow safety, DOT and internal compliance guidelines.
• Mentor Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels.
• Access maintenance documents as needed.
• Support operations with additional duties as required.
• SBTIII training within 180 days; complete OEM diagnostic tool courses.
