Job summary

Ryder in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Master Level Diesel Technician to join our maintenance team. You will perform routine and complex repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, using state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of gas and diesel engines.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and engine repairs.
• CDL Class A preferred in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and diesel engines.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Drive Ryder vehicles and participate in road tests when required.
• Instruct and mentor other technicians in maintenance procedures and diagnostics.
