Job summary

The Rasmussen Group in Des Moines is seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician to keep our heavy construction equipment and fleet in top condition. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and heavy gear, ensuring uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of diesel technician experience.
• Knowledge of engine, aftertreatment, electrical, braking, drivetrain and hydraulic systems.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on trucks and heavy equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software.
• Maintain accurate repair records in Fleetio.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians.
