Job summary

RWC Group is seeking a skilled Journeyman Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty trucks and buses. The role requires independent diagnostics, high-quality workmanship, and compliance with safety standards to ensure fleet uptime.

Qualifications

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks and buses.
Perform repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, clutches, drivetrains, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Mentor and assist apprentice technicians with diagnostics and procedures.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks, buses, and related equipment.
Perform repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, clutches, drivetrains, steering, suspension, brake systems, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Utilize OEM diagnostic software, scan tools, and service information systems to identify and resolve issues.
Mentor and assist apprentice and entry-level technicians with diagnostics, repair procedures, and best practices.
