Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Technician II to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll work independently on major and minor repairs, log diagnostics, and continually grow your skills through training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications are preferred.
• Experience with engines, transmissions, differentials and OEM training courses recommended.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance services with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems, etc.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
