Job summary

United Ag & Turf is seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose and repair John Deere equipment across multiple locations. You will mentor junior technicians, manage billable time, and ensure complete documentation of all diagnostics and repairs.

The role requires maintaining tools and a tidy, safe work environment while staying current with John Deere products and competitive offerings. A HS diploma is required, with associates preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment or similar machinery.
• Ability to document work orders accurately and timely.
• Must communicate effectively in writing and verbally; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Mentor Service Technician Trainees and Technicians.
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Document diagnostics and repairs thoroughly and submit information on time.
• Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment needed for duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and comply with safety rules.
