Job summary

United Ag & Turf, a John Deere dealership with locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New Mexico, is seeking a skilled Service Technician. You will diagnose and repair John Deere equipment, mentor trainees, and manage billable time while documenting work orders.

The role requires experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and quality. Candidates should be prepared to operate and maintain tools and stay current with John Deere

Qualifications

• Experience performing service repairs on equipment.
• Ability to follow Technical Manuals and use special tools.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Responsible for thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs and timely submittal of information.
• Maintains safety rules and a clean, orderly work area.
