Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Level Diesel Technician to work on heavy-duty vehicles. This role features a first shift 6:00 am–2:30 pm, a Tuesday–Saturday schedule, and weekly pay with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience with mechanical repair of heavy/diesel engines and preventive maintenance.
• Three years or more relevant work experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; may require within 6 months depending on location.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and vehicle systems.

Responsabilidades

• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Completes detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint.
• Mentors Tech 1 and Tech 2; uses Shop Management System and documentation.
• Ensures compliance with safety, DOT, MOT and company policies.
