Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections on fleet vehicles.
• Conduct annual inspections on all fleet vehicles.
• Address mechanic issues based on report findings.
• Document all work performed on work orders.
• Mentor junior technicians.

Skills

Expert knowledge of vehicle systems and components

Expert knowledge in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems

Expert knowledge in refrigeration systems

Moderate knowledge in welding and cutting

Working knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software

Education

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver’s license (CDL Preferred)
